The battle for Petalburg was a large one. And Asher was shocked to know that he would be playing support in the area. But he still took to it with gusto. Perhaps a little too much. So much that the seventeen year old actually got done with a lot of his duties. As a reward, he was given some extended leave. But Ash had gotten anxious, and really didn't want to stick around the city. So he hopped onto his overly large Rapidash, and just went! He had several days, thankfully. Who knew Rocket could be generious? Thankfully, he was relatively unknown, thanks to his playing to the backfield instead of the front lines. Besides, he was a kid, so he really shouldn't be there to begin with.

What the red head and Frou-Frou also wanted was some extra spending money. Okay, mostly him. But a nicer saddle would be nice for his diva of a Rapidash. They had found themselves at Verdanturf Town when they came across a wanted poster. Ranch hands...that was promising! And really, who would be worse than Frou-Frou? Taking a picture of the poster for the information, Ash headed towards the Ranch in question. This smartphone was nice! He'd be lost without it! Physical labor was perfectly fine with him, and while he looked skinny, he had more muscle on him than met the eye. Ash walked his horse pokemon on the side of a road, one that seemed to be around the ranch in question. Seeing a couple of people in front, the kid spoke up. "Hey guys! I saw there was a need for more ranch hands? Any idea who I need to talk to?"
